Using a 4pin auxiliary rather than an 8pin auxiliary will simply result in not enough power, being supplied with a high end CPU/overlocked CPU (hint the OP doesn't have one) or a large number of PCIe devices (the OP doesn't list them). The 4pin/8pin is an auxiliary power connector which typically supplies not just the CPU but the PCIe slots! It will tell you if it requires 4pin auxiliary power (P4) or an 8-pin auxiliary power connector (P8) and under what conditions you need the 8pin over the 4pin one.Īlso thtadthtshldntb, "P67 ATX motherboard" isn't a damn model number which tells you the power layout.
